About Me.
Hello there, I'm Tina Givens, your mentor for this journey into the world of the Sewing Pattern Business. I've been immersed in the realms of fashion design and garment creation for most of my life, and in 2012, I embarked on a new adventure by launching a sewing pattern business. This was a time when the Internet was becoming a more accessible platform for digital product creation and distribution. While I offer both printed and downloadable options, I foresee a predominantly digital future, making this business model ripe with potential.

My professional background is anchored in business, sales, and marketing. Believe it or not, my academic foundation is in Business and Economics, despite my lifelong passion for fashion. After establishing a successful career in Advertising, Sales, Marketing, and Branding, I launched my first entrepreneurial endeavor in the stationery and paper product industry. This venture grew into a global operation featuring personalized products and branched out into the giftware and textile markets through licensing.
In addition to these achievements, I've contributed to the success of various brands in varying capacities, including guiding new product companies in branding and rebranding well-established brands.

Today, I design and create sewing patterns for the home sewing market. We have over 200 published titles and 7 issues of our incredible magazine, SYCHIL, reaching a global market through print and digital options. I also run a ready-to-wear brand and operate a couture apparel studio for women's clothing, a venture I thoroughly relish. Our creations reach customers globally, either directly via our online platforms or through stores.

Create usable sewing patterns with simple techniques and easy technology at your fingertips. Learn Illustrator, a little Photoshop, and Indesign with quick tips and know-how. Formatting patterns for salable products.
